The colorful Punta Arenas is located 3,090 kilometers south of Santiago de Chile. This charming city is the most important urban center in the Magellanic region. The region’s climate is, due to its geographical location, very harsh during the winter season, with temperatures that barely exceed 0º C and regular snowfalls. The arrival of spring and summer make Punta Arenas a much warmer city, with averages ranging from 14 to 20º C. Sunny days are the most anticipated by everyone.
